Salaar will be released in two parts
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire will be releasing in theatre on 28 September 2023
Prabhas is reportedly being paid a whopping Rs. 100 crore for the film, making it the highest-paying contract in Indian cinema history
The film has been shot iin multiple locations across India
The music has been composed by Ravi Basrur, who also composed the music for Prashanth Neel's previous film, KGF: Chapter 2
The film is backed up by Hombale Films, who have also produced the KGF film series
Salaar Part 2 will be released in summer 2024
