Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar tested COVID positive on Tuesday.

She was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital.

The 92-year-old singer has been diagnosed with post-COVID-19 induced pneumonia, and was rushed to the hospital.

Lataji is currently in the ICU and is being treated by Dr Prateet Samdani.

Born on September 28, 1929, she was honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Award and France's highest civilian award, and several other awards.

The Guinness Book of Records ranked her as the most recorded artiste in the history.

The Nightingale of India who started singing at 13 has recorded songs in over 36 Indian languages in 70 years!

She became the recipient of India's highest civilian honour Bharat Ratna in 2001.

She is fine& has been kept in ICU only for precautionary reasons considering her age. Please keep Didi in your prayers,” her niece Rachana Shah said.
