YSRCP MP Goddeti Madhavi has never forgotten her roots despite her status as a public representative in the Parliament.
The Araku MP was in her native Sarabhannapalem village ,Koyyyuru mandal in Paderu constituency at Visakhapatnam district to harvest paddy.
She along with her husband K Sivaprasad together were involved in filling gunny bags with fresh paddy yield at their fields.
The Araku MP was seen actively participating in the paddy threshing session along with her family members.
Madhavi then heard the problems of the locals
She offered solutions even while she was engaged in farming work at the field.
She worked as physical education teacher (PET) before entering politics.
She is the youngest MP from Andhra & won with a huge majority of 2,24,098 votes against former Union minister Kishore Chandra Deo.
Her father late Goddeti Demudu, was a communist leader & 2-time MLA who used to go in a bus to the Assembly.
Goddeti Madhavi is one of the poorest MPs in India & has the least declared assets of about Rs 1 Lakh, according to the Association for Democratic Reforms.
The youngest MP from Andhra Pradesh, working in her own farm proves that life is full of joys as long as power doesn't get to one's head.
She was awarded for being vocal about child rights, participated in debates on sanctioning Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Araku, raised online safety issue for children & women's safety.
