PV Narasimha Rao was born on 28 June 1921, served as the 9th PM of India from 1991 to 1996. He is known as the "Father of Indian Economic Reforms".

Telangana CM KCR praised him as 'Son of the Soil' & as the Architect of Modern India.

The Telangana State Government has imbibed PV's inspiration in administration, KCR said.

PV Narasimha Rao also proved that Telangana leadership has showed a path to the country, KCR said

PVNR was also referred to as Chanakya for his ability to steer economic and political legislations through the parliament .

Apart from economic, India also registered qualitative growth in Nuclear Power, Foreign Policy, Internal Security etc., KCR said.

He employed Manmohan Singh as his Finance Minister to embark on historic economic transition.

A 28-feet bronze statue of PV Narasimha Rao was unveiled as part of the year-long birth centenary celebrations last year by the Telangana Govt in Hyderabad.
