Chennai Super Kings franchise gave a surprise to everyone as they announced their new captain.

It is known that Ravindra Jadeja handed over the captaincy to MS Dhoni.

He has stepped down from the captaincy to focus and concentrate more on his game and has requested MS DHoni to lead CSK

MS Dhoni has agreed to lead CSK in the larger interest of allowing Jadeja to concentrate on his game.

As a CSK captain, MS Dhoni holds numerous records.

Under MS Dhoni's leadership, CSK reached nine finals.

CSK has reached the playoffs 11 times. This is why CSK and MS Dhoni are regarded as the most successful teams in the league's history.

Expect a horrible season in 2020. CSK reached the knockout stage of the league every single time. 

Dhoni captained IPL sides in 204 games in which the team won 121 matches and faced defeats in 82 

His win percentage is 59.60%, which is second best, just 0.08% points behind Rohit Sharma.
