Nitish Rana, who hit a six off the first ball of the 20th over, finished undefeated on 48 off 37 balls.
Earlier, Aaron Finch and Baba Indrajith as their new opening pair for KKR.
Both players fell early, but Shreyas Iyer and Nitish Rana have subsequently put up more over 50 for the fourth wicket.
