The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are the second team to have qualified for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 play-offs.

They overcame Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by two runs in a final over thriller.

Quinton de Kock (140) and KL Rahul (68*) were undefeated till the 20th over as Lucknow racked up a massive 210/0.

As a result, KKR got off to the worst start. Mohsin Khan restricted openers Venkatesh Iyer and Abhishek Tomar to the powerplay overs.

However, Nitish Rana, Shreyas Iyer and Rinku kept KKR in the game.

Stonis cleaned up Umesh Yadav with three required off the penultimate ball as KKR fell short by two runs.
