Jhajharia was born into a family of farmers in the Churu district of Rajasthan.
Jhajharia is India's most successful individual athlete in the Paralympics.
He bagged three medals—two gold medals and one silver.
Jhajharia is the only Indian to have ever won two gold medals at any Olympic or Paralympic games.
Jhajharia won the silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020 in the Men's Javelin Throw- F46 event.
