After a poor season, Virat Kohli bounced back to form for Royal Challengers Bangalore when it counted the most

Kohli hammered 73 off 54 balls as RCB chased down a tough 169-run goal set by Gujarat Titans (GT) in 18.4 overs to keep themselves in contention for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 play-offs.

With 16 points, they are presently fourth in the points table

Kohli put up a 115-run partnership with Faf du Plessis for the first wicket before being caught by Rashid Khan on 44(38).

Hardik Pandya led from the front with an unbeaten 62(47) as GT racked up 168/5 after deciding to bat first

Rashid had a 6-ball 19 and David Miller scored 34 (25) 

Josh Hazlewood picked two wickets from the RCB camp, while Wanindu Hasaranga and Maxwell took a wicket each
