In the first match of the Womens T20 Challenge, Supernovas defeated the Trailblazers by 49 runs

In the stipulated 20 overs, the Supernovas were bundled out for 163 runs.

The Trailblazers got off to a solid start in pursuit of this goal, but once the openers were dismissed, the squad crumbled like a pack of cards.

Pooja Vastrakar claimed four wickets for 12 runs in her four overs.

Smriti Mandhana (34) and Hayley Mathews (18) got the trailblazers off to a solid start in their 164-run chase.

After Hayley was dismissed, Jemima Rodrigues (24) was supported the captain.

From 63/1, the trailblazers’ score went up to 94/9 in a few overs. Trailblazers scored 114 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.

Supernovas had the highest score in the Women's T20 Challenge with 163 runs in the season's first match.
